On February 3, 2021, the CNIPA issued No. 47628 invalidation decision, announcing that all rights of the patent of Finisar Company, entitled "Integrated Memory Controller Circuit for Optical Transceiver" were invalid.

After accepting the client's entrustment, the team of Hengbo conducted a large number of searches on the prior art of the above-mentioned patents and found that there were prior arts in the patent documents that were relatively similar to the patents involved. On this basis, they filed a request for invalidation. After nearly six months, the CNIPA finally made a decision to declare all the patents invalid.

According to the law, if the patentee disagrees with the invalidation decision, he or she can file an administrative litigation to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within 3 months.
