On January 12, 2017, the CNIPA issued No. 47628 Invalidation decision, declaring that all rights of the design patent owned by Midea Washing Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Midea Group Co., Ltd. and Shunde District, Foshan City, entitled "the installation structure and dishwater " were invalid. 

Entrusted by the client, the team of Hengbo had conducted a large number of searches on the prior art of the above-mentioned patents and found that there were prior art in the patent documents that were relatively similar to the patents involved. On this basis, they filed a request for invalidation. After nearly six months After the trial, the CNIPA finally made a decision, declaring all the patents invalid.

According to the law, if the patentee disagrees with the invalidation decision, he or she can file an administrative litigation to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within 3 months.
