On January 12, 2017, the CNIPA issued No. 31125 Invalidation decision, declaring that all rights of the design patent, entitled "the snowplow", which was owned by Shandong Huiqiang Heavy Industry Technology Co., LTD. to be invalid.

Entrusted by the client, the team of Hengbo had done a lot of painstaking retrieval and used the evidence found in Hongkong, which were videos of snowplow in YouTube and other patent literature, as the proof of the prior art. Finally, the team successfully invalidated the patent. 

According to the law, if the patentee disagrees with the invalidation decision, he or she can file an administrative litigation to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within 3 months.
