The decision held that if the distinguishing technical features of a claim compared with the closest reference document, part of them are disclosed by other reference documents, and part of them are common methods in the field, the existing technology as a whole provides an indication to solve its technical problem by using the above-mentioned distinguishing technical features. If the problem arises, the technical solution protected by the claim does not have outstanding substantive features and significant progress, and does not possess inventive step.

According to legal provisions, if the patentee is dissatisfied with the invalidation decision, he can file an administrative lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within three months.
