On August 5, 2021, the CNIPA issued Invalidation Decision No.51331, declaring that all patent rights of the "compact optical sensor System and electronic device containing the system" which is owned by the O-Net WaveTouch Limited were invalid.

According to the law, if the patentee disagrees with the invalidation decision, he or she can file an administrative litigation to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within 3 months.
