On December 14, 2017, the CNIPA issued No. 34142 Invalidation decision, declaring that all rights of design patent, entitled "Jin Aiyi", which was owned by Liang Haiquan to be invalid.

On September 29, 2017, the team of Hengbo accepted the entrustment of the client. With a lot of retrieval, the team finally found the evidence that there were products with similar design sold on Taobao platform before the application date and filed a request for invalidation based on that. After nearly three months of trial, the CNIPA finally decided to invalidate all rights of the patent. 

According to the law, if the claimant disagrees with the invalidation decision, he or she can file an administrative litigation to the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within 3 months.
