On December 2, 2016, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (hereinafter refered as CNIPA) issued an invalidation decision No. 30538, announcing that the patent rights of utility model, named "gyro toy", which were owned by TOMY International,Inc. were partially invalid (the picture is for reference only and has nothing to do with this patent).

After accepting the client's commission, the Hengbo team conducted a lot of arduous searches, which ultimately invalidated the key claims of the patent.

According to the law, the patentee, who is dissatisfied with the invalidation decision, can file an administrative lawsuit request with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within three months.
