On August 17 , 2023 , the China National Intellectual Property Administration issued the Invalidation Decision No. 56328 1, announcing the patent owned by Guangzhou Lango Electronics Technology Co.,Ltd. and entiled "Control Circuit, Method And All-In-One Machine Based On Usb-c Wake-Up Machine" all patent rights were invalided.

After accepting the client's entrustment, the Hengbo team conducted a lot of arduous searches, and finally successfully invalidated the patent.

The decision considers that: if a claim has a distinguishing technical feature from the closest prior art, but the distinguishing technical feature either belongs to the common knowledge in the field, or is disclosed by other prior art and its role in the prior art is different from that of the prior art. If the functions in this claim are the same, then this claim is obvious compared to the prior art and does not involve an inventive step.

According to the law, if the patentee refuses to accept the invalidation decision, he can file an administrative lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court within three months.
